Aroha Taveuni Fishing Packages

Muanauto Sport Fishing is based at nearby Qamea Island and is run by a local guy, Les Mitchell. Les has great reputation for return fishermen/women each year. His local knowledge of the area is very informative and he claims to know all ‘the spots’ for great fishing. He has two boats, one a 21' Islander and the other a 26' Grady White Sport-fishing Boat.

21' Islander

Jigging & Popping

Cost: $50 per hour, with a minimum of 2hrs.
4 people maximum.

Trolling

Cost $100 per hour, with a minimum of 3hrs.
3 people max

26' Grady White Sport-fishing Boat

Cost: $850 for half day, $1550.00 for a full day.
6 people max.
Lunch included.

Pick-up for both boats will either be at Matei, (taxi fare $25.00 each way), or at the Government Wharf close to Aroha Taveuni. The weather will decide which pick up point will be used.
